Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Rayana Joshi extend my gratitude to you for allowing me another opportunity to present my case. I am a pharma graduate who aims to develop a competitive aptitude for healthcare administration. Having served in the pharma industry, I have closely worked with healthcare facilities. I take pride in claiming our healthcare industry has reformed at large concerning medicine and patient care, yet a need for robust healthcare administration persists in the majority of Indian hospitals. I have thus, carefully thought to pursue Health Administration and Leadership from Confederation College. I am delighted to share that I have also received a Letter of Admission from the college for the September intake, but my previous visa application has been rejected based on the following ground:
- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
By utilizing this application as a medium to put forth my reasoning to validate my candidacy as a genuine temporary entrant, I also want to assure you that I will return to my country to serve my people who are the main inspiration behind choosing this course.
Purpose of Visit
Through visiting Canada, I wish to develop a robust knowledge of health care administration from a global point of view. Canada is an advanced nation and so its pedagogical approaches are greatly integrated as per the industry norms. As I want to penetrate the administration sector from pharma, I want to take my knowledge of pharma along with me to offer a dual advantage to my future workplace. By studying in Canada, I will reserve better career opportunities back home. I will not restrict my learnings domestically but I will have a chance to explore global solutions in the healthcare sector. In this way, I will be able to revolutionize the way Indian healthcare facilities operate their administration departments. With my effective leadership qualities, I will garner better learning experiences. The front-end facilities are not up-to-the-mark in my country leaving a few hospital chains aside. Through effective leadership and stronghold in global healthcare, I aim to revolutionize the way the Indian healthcare industry works. It gives me a purpose to contribute to this sector by obtaining a formal education. Through studying in Canada, I will get international exposure that will catalyze my growth further in the healthcare administration departments back in India. I am thus, greatly influenced to stud in Canada so that I can take home valuable lessons as applied in the advanced culture.
Why Canada?
Canada needs no recognition as we talk about overseas education. It beholds exemplary reputation to instill enough confidence in me to choose to study here without a second thought. Students from all over the world come to Canada to fulfill their study aspirations. The cutting-edge study system in Canada is as competitive as in any other English-speaking country. I have also speculated about its fair policies laid down for international immigrants. It convinces me to have a comfortable stay and access to open learning. The majority of Canada’s population belongs to diverse ethnic backgrounds which makes this place a major attraction for students to experience a global culture. English is the second most spoken language in Canada which strengthens my belief in a swift dialogue exchange throughout my stay. Hence, I am confirmed that I will not face any communication barrier by being in Canada for a stipulated period. Canadian education is advanced and based on practical implementations of learned lessons. It places equal value on offering the right mix of conceptual and practical learnings. I am thus convinced that Canada is certainly the best place for me to study, considering it is also a peaceful nation.
Why not India: The Indian healthcare industry is in its buddings stage like any other department in a developing country. Therefore, I believe Canada is certainly the right choice for me to pursue further studies. The Canadian education system is inspiringly practical while in India, I will restrict my studies to conceptual learning and theory-based classrooms. As a result of this, I am placing a higher value on the Canadian education system than the Indian one. I certainly want a practical exposure that only Canada can offer me. Also, the type of training that I am looking forward to experiencing in Canada is hard to come by in India. I will be limited by exposure if I am to study in India while I will gain international exposure if I study in Canada. From every point of view, if I compare the two, I will choose Canada over India to fulfilling my educational pursuits.
Why Health Care Administration and Leadership at Confederation College?
Confederation College appeared to me as the perfect study location in Canada due to its robust course in my chosen area. After having already made a lot of comparisons, I am convinced that the course available at Confederation College is the right learning mix for me. It offers me to hone excellent leadership qualities along with learning to manage the administration in any given healthcare system. The course modules are vast and more likely to benefit my application of theories for long decades. I will learn topics in Health Systems and Policy, Intercultural Business Communications, Financial Strategies for Health Organizations, Evidence-Based Decision Making, Community Engagement, Leadership in Healthcare Organizations, Law and Ethics for Health Administration that interest me the most. Moreover, the Capstone project will lay down a solid foundation for me to resolve healthcare service issues in real-time. Utilizing my learned skills in organizational culture, finances, leadership, strategic and operational goals, and policy. Also, my research into the college’s environment makes me confident about choosing Confederation College. It offers a well-equipped infrastructure and an opportunity to sit in a less crowded classroom to augment the learning experience. One–on–one faculty interaction is something unique. Also, I will get to study amongst the multicultural student population guided by industry-leading faculties. All of this convinces me about a wonderful study culture that persists at Confederation College in Canada.
Reasons to return to India
Family ties
I come from a well-settled nuclear family in India. My father, mother, and sister are my immediate ties in my home country. My father is a <add designation>, my mother is a <add designation/title>, and my sister is <add what she does>. As my family has served as the strongest support for me throughout my time with them and beyond, I am also looking forward to paying back their gratitude in the form of my homecoming where they will be awaiting my presence after completing my studies. My family matters to me the most. I share very strong ties with all of my family members. Hence, I will act as a responsible daughter and return to my country to take care of my parents and support my sister. Also, our voluminous assets will be divided between two of us siblings. Hence, I will also be accountable for my parents’ hard-earned riches and wealth back in India. I am thus, placing high importance on coming back to India concerning family duties, responsibilities, and affection. I do not have any family ties in Canada which will prompt me to return to my country in a timely fashion.
Future plans
As a student, I carry a short-term goal to complete my study plan at Confederation college with distinction to broaden my opportunities in the longer term. Through this, I will be able to seek higher positions in the Indian health care industry upon my return home. I certainly wish to give back to the community that has provided for me to thrive professionally. In the long term, I aim to secure a position as a healthcare administrator or department manager to lead larger teams in offering faultless healthcare services. I will associate myself with eminent healthcare facilities in India, a few of which are AIIMS, Fortis, Max Hospitals, etc. I am so devoted to working in the Indian healthcare industry that I will seek an immediate return to India after gaining the required exposure in my chosen field.
Conclusion
Declaration of funds: I come from financially strong family background. Hence, my parents have offered to sponsor my stay in Canada. For this reason, I have deposited CAD 10,000 into my GIC account and paid a full tuition fee of CAD <add figure> for the first year. Enclosed please find a copy of my proof of payment. The savings my family has is sufficient to help me with any additional expenditures I might incur while I am in Canada. Moreover, we possess movable property worth CAD 59502.71 and immovable property of CAD 255590 which contributes to our total assets of CAD 3,18,973. Please find enclosed my family’s financial information for your kind consideration.
Language proficiency: To prove my English language proficiency, I have taken the IELTS examination and have secured an overall score of bands 7.0 with no band less than 6.5 (Listening-7.5, Reading-7.0, Speaking-6.5, Writing-6.0). Hence, I am convinced that language will not be a barrier for me. The IELTS transcript has been enclosed herewith.
Oath: Through my visit to Canada, I am hoping to complete further studies and bring honor to the association. I am familiar with Canadian immigration laws and I will follow them throughout my stay. I am also dedicated to adding value to Canadian culture through my active involvement in welfare and community participation. I will act amicably and I will comply with all the laws of the country.
