Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Arjun Kumar extend my sincere thanks to you for allowing me to reinstate my purpose of visiting Canada. Belonging to a businessman’s family, I possess a deep desire to pursue a career in business. However, having completed my senior school, I also understand how crucial it is for me to gain higher studies in this domain. Without formal training, I cannot evolve as a successful entrepreneur due to having limited or no exposure to exemplary teachings. Hence, I have carefully planned to pursue a Diploma in Business from Fleming College in Canada. I have also received a Letter of Admission. Unfortunately, my previous visa application remained unapproved due to the following reason:
- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
I am thus, determined to nullify the above rejection by offering a sincere intent to pursue higher studies in Canada. I hope by the end of this application, I would be able to convince you about my status as a genuine temporary entrant to Canada.
Purpose of Visit
Since childhood, I grew up under the close guidance of my businessman father. As a result, I inculcated a natural affinity for handling business. It all began by watching my father exchange valuable business communication and closing profitable deals. I also extended help to him in my spare time after passing out of the school and I could closely draw my career outline. I wanted to pursue business studies. However, after speculating business study options in my country, I have decided to gain higher education abroad. None other than Canada appeared as a perfect study destination for me based on different grounds as discussed below:
Why Canada?
Everyone agrees about Canada’s leading position as a global education leader. It encompasses pedagogy as advanced as the other English-speaking countries such as the USA, UK, or Australia. After graduating from Canada, I will also become one of the most sought-after candidates globally, especially in my home country. It is certainly due to its quality of education that is recognized the world widely. Canada being one of the most settled business economies makes me choose to fulfill my study aspirations here. It is relevant to my study interest to seek education from one of the best-performing nations in business and innovation. Canada is certainly the one that checks all boxes for me concerning the affordability of education, peaceful atmospheres, guided mentorship, the openness of culture, and much more.
Why Not India: I am quite aware of the availability of this course in my country but the same is not deemed valuable by the prospective employers due to a primarily theoretically inclined study system. In contrast to India, the Canadian education system is based upon pragmatic teachings that I am more likely to embrace than choosing to study in India. Also, studying in my country will keep me from garnering international exposure due to the limited reach of the existing business programs in India. Hence, it is to my career benefit to obtain international exposure by studying in Canada. It will help me in enhancing my overall personality as a business professional. I can confidently claim Canada’s education system to be more advantageous for me concerning my study goals. Hence, I am more interested in studying in Canada over India.
Why Business Program at Fleming College?
The Diploma in the Business program offered by Fleming College is a perfect match for my study preferences and choices. After completing the diploma program, I will be robustly prepared to embrace professional pursuits. Having nurtured myself at an international college will expose me to a variety of career opportunities in business. The comprehensive study of topics in entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, and marketing management will groom me to perform at a competitive level in the future. Through studying at Fleming College, I intend to prepare a seamless career map for myself as distinguished by the college itself. The exciting co-op opportunity will grace me with numerous international experiences and connections. Through this, I will collect a lifetime of a network that will help me outgrow as a business professional. Considering the college’s repute in offering fruitful learning experiences, I am ardent to fulfill my study aspirations at Fleming College. Utilizing my sources and intellect, I have also speculated about the college’s study environment and have found it to be a perfect match for prospering my study plans. Dedicated international student support is another offering that caught my attention. With this, I am convinced that I will study in a conducive atmosphere and I will not feel left out even once. I have thus knitted my higher study dreams surrounding Fleming College.
Reasons to return to India
My reasons to return to India are strongly backed by my family ties and career plans which are detailed below:
Family Ties
My family beside me comprises my father, mother, and brother. My father is an established entrepreneur who runs a successful electronics business in our hometown. My mother is also a proud working woman who is employed at <add institution/organization> as <add designation>. My elder brother is a freelance wholesaler of electronic products. Being the youngest member of the family, I have fostered great bonding with my parents and sibling. I am attached to them so much that I cannot think about staying away from them for a longer period. Hence. I have planned to return home upon completion of my study program in Canada. Moreover, my parents are getting older and I want to extend support to my brother in fulfilling my parents’ old age dreams and aspirations. Also, in the long run, I will inherit my long-preserved family assets and valuables that require my presence back in India. Since I do not possess any family ties in Canada and my entire clan resides in India, I am ardent to return to my home country for the love of my family.
Future plans
In the short run, I aim to pass my current study program with distinction and reserve ample career opportunities back home. Before that, I would garner impeccable learning experience for myself in Canada that will heighten my progression in my future pursuits. Although I have a strong desire to support my father’s business in the long run but to refine my strategic approach and polish myself as a well-rounded business professional, I would firstly acquire a decent opportunity to work with MNCs in India. Initially, I would like to associate myself with electronic giants like Havel’s, Great White, Hindustan Kirloskar, Bajaj Electricals, Wipro Lighting, Siemens, etc., in the roles such as business manager, department manager, business analyst, business support, etc. With this, I will prepare myself to contribute to my father’s business in the long term. I have great plans to globalize our family business utilizing my international academic knowledge as well as work experience gained from multinational corporates.
Conclusion
Declaration of funds: My family has a business background that ensures our strong financial status. We own a residential building worth CAD 182793, a commercial shop worth CAD 68924.70, and precious jewelry having a resale value of CAD 12628.88. Owing to our financial wealth my parents are willing to sponsor my education in Canada. As a result, I have paid one year’s tuition fee of CAD <add figure> and deposited CAD 10,000 into the GIC account. My family is also stable enough to offer support in case of additional expenses that I might incur during my stay in Canada. Hence, I am sure that I will have a seamless study experience throughout my educational journey in Canada.
Language proficiency: I have taken the IELTS examination beforehand to provide evidence supporting my language proficiency. I have secured an overall band score of 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0. Please find enclosed my scorecard for your kind perusal.
Oath: Being a law-abiding citizen, I pledge to follow all the Canadian Immigration Rules throughout my stay. In no circumstances, I will indulge in activities that aren’t considered lawful by the country’s law. Throughout my stay, I will strive to bring laurels to my academic institution and add to the intellectual heritage of Canada. Following my strong values, I will develop amicable connections and treat every individual with the utmost respect. I will fully devote my efforts to achieving my study objectives. I will return home in a timely fashion without exceeding my stay beyond authorization. I sincerely hope that my genuine intent to visit Canada has convinced you about my status as a temporary entrant.
