Dear Sir/Madam,

I, Reyan Deshmukh hereby thank you for allowing me another chance to present my case in favor of my application to study in Canada. I come from a dignified professional background having substantial experience in human resource management. Over time, I have served internationally as well as domestically and have found that I need a strong global exposure to rise in my career graph. Moreover, my academic journey beginning from IT to management combined with my professional experience made me realize my core interest in the field of business analytics. However, to realize this career milestone, I will require formal training in the related subject. Hence, I have carefully chosen to study for PG Diploma in Information Systems Business Analytics + International Business Management (Full time) available at Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology. I have also received a Letter of Admission from the college for the <mention intake>. Unfortunately, my visa approval suffered due to the following reason:

  • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

Through the means of this application, I aim to provide a valid justification to re-establish myself as a genuine temporary student entrant in Canada.

Purpose of Visit

To provide myself with the most technically sound background for managing business operations domestically and internationally, I intend to gain knowledge of Business Analytics and International Business Management. After considering other study destinations such as the United Kingdom, USA, and Australia, I discovered that I can fully realize my objectives in Canada. Out of all the major study hubs available to me, I found this program at Northern College to be the most beneficial to my budgeting equivalence. The idea of studying in Canada appealed to me since I would have the chance to interact with a diverse range of students and compete on a higher level. With a well-established study system and an outstanding infrastructure, Canada offers an unmatched educational experience to its students. Additionally, Canada’s position as one of the world’s most peaceful nations bolsters my confidence to make my final decision. The country’s unique health care system applies equally to international students and citizens alike. Canada’s amazing culture appeals to me, and I am excited about starting my academic career there.

Why Not India: I will be able to get a high-quality international education at Northern College while also studying in my desired field, which is otherwise not available in my country. Because I have already graduated from a university in India at the master’s level, I am familiar with its education system. Institutions in India typically focus more on merit allowing the course structure to focus more on theory than practical exposure. At this point of time in my career, I am looking for practical application more than just conceptualization. That’s why I believe Canada is the right study destination for me. Additionally, obtaining an international education credential will enhance my credibility in the Indian marketplace and provide me with great growth opportunities. Considering this, I would like to pursue this program. Based on my previous work experience and my desire to work for industry giants back home, I feel strongly about pursuing higher education here. While researching similar courses to Northern College’s, I was unable to find a single course that was as good as the one available at Northern College. I would miss a significant opportunity to gain global exposure to better serve my future goals if I were to continue my studies in India. Consequently, I am excited to begin my education at Northern College and to advance my career prospects back home.

Why Northern College

I found Northern College to be the most appropriate institution for my interests in Information Systems, Business Analytics, and International Business Management. I found the college’s curriculum to be exactly what I am seeking. Because of the combined nature of the program, I will be able to further my knowledge in International Market Entry Strategies, Career Planning, Professional Skills, and Global E-business Management, as well as Foundations of Computer Science, and Computer Application for Business and Technology. Furthermore, it employs advanced teaching methodologies and has experienced faculty members from diverse backgrounds. These factors lead me to believe that I would benefit from studying at Northern College and will grow as a person. As part of this program, I’ll have the opportunity to attend top-notch classroom sessions, receive practical training, and participate in diverse study groups. A strong focus on experiential learning is reflected in the courses offered at Northern College. Hence, I am convinced that this is certainly the college of my dreams.

Reasons to return to India

I belong to a traditional joint family in India. My immediate family includes my father, mother, brother, and myself. My father is a retired principal from a government school in India. As a pensioner, he gets a substantial amount of money every month. Also, he is capitalizing on his hobby as an astrologer. My mother is a proud homemaker while my brother runs a successful business that deals in fabrics PAN India. I am so proud to have been associated with a family of educated people. Due to my close-knit family, I have formed strong bonds with all my family members. I cannot live away from all of them for a longer period, especially my mother. Therefore, I intend to return to my loving family soon after I complete my studies in Canada. Furthermore, over time, my parents have accumulated enough wealth that will need my and my brother’s attention shortly. Moreover, just like other responsible Indian parents, my parents have nurtured a dream to take the responsibility of my matrimony that I cannot take away from them at any cost. It is my moral duty to come back and settle as per their wishes to return their gratitude. Therefore, my reasons for returning to India are many, but I still prioritize my relationship with my family. In addition, I declare that I have no family ties in Canada and that after completing this course I intend to return to my country.

Future plans

As we know IT is a booming sector in India and it shall continue for decades due to its second-largest IT talent pool in the world. Bigger companies or corporate giants confidently invest in Indian IT resources due to their impeccable talent. With the growth of the E-commerce business, the demand for it has gradually picked up the role of business intelligence professionals. By pursuing this program from Northern College, I will get an edge over others as I apply to MNCs in India. It is due to the globally accredited certification as well as international exposure that I will gain during my stay in Canada. This course will certainly come to my advantage while applying to top MNCs like Wipro, TATA, Infosys, etc. In the short run, I will strive to gain as much exposure as I can by serving as a multi-profile handler. Eventually, I will find my way to top the career ladder by remaining in the business for a longer time. I will utilize my academic skills, experience, and international exposure to reach up to the C-suite level, this being my long-term career goal.

Conclusion

My family is prosperous and possesses substantial properties and intangible assets. We have a strong financial background with my brother running a successful business in India. Attached is a copy of the income proof and CA-approved certificate.

My father and brother will sponsor my education and stay in Canada so that I can fulfill my desire to study in Canada. Thus, I have paid 16,485 CAD for the first-year tuition fee and deposited CAD 10,185 into the GIC account. My family has more than enough money to cover the expenses involved in my education, living expenses, and any other miscellaneous expenses that I might incur in Canada. Please find attached the necessary evidence.

I understand how critical it is to prove our English language proficiency, hence, I have taken the IELTS test beforehand. I have successfully obtained an overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0. As a result, I am confident that language will not be a barrier for me to pursue higher education in Canada.

I pledge to respect Canadian immigration laws and behave accordingly as a law-abiding citizen. I pledge to follow all the rules and adhere to my boundaries. By representing my strong values, I will not hurt the feelings of the nation or its people, but rather add to their rich diversity. Throughout my stay, my actions will always be based on obtaining higher education. I, therefore, request you to grant me a student a visa permit as a genuine temporary student entrant to Canada. I shall promise to return to my homeland after the completion of my studies.

Sincerely,

Reyan Deshmukh
