Below is a Sample SOP For Law Graduate
It is a true adage that denial of an individual’s human right is similar to challenging his humanity. Being a law graduate, I have learned volumes about the legislature of the country and have found my ground with Human Rights and its significance to witness a better world. From exploring the nitty-gritty of law through a five-year integrated law program to attaining professional exposure under the mentorship of some of the best advocates in the country; I have had my share of experiences, which I am eager to build on. I intend to channel all the acquired knowledge and experience towards helping the deprived sections of the society, by protecting and promoting their human rights. To give form to my objectives, I find the internship program offered by NHRC to be an ideal ground.
The National Human Rights Commission strives to live up to the Human Rights Act of 1993, which aims to provide people equal opportunities and prevent discrimination based on extraneous personal characteristics. The objective of this statutory public body aligns with my goals, offering the golden opportunity to mark my contributions to the domain of human rights. Through this internship, I seek to acquire the ability to deal with real-world challenges and integrate this very experience towards fulfilling my long term of becoming a Judge Advocate General. I am ready to create an impact and will leave no stone unturned to transform opportunities into accolades. I look forward to being a part of this enriching opportunity.
