Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Aaritri Mehra an experienced dental health care provider. I extend my sincere thanks to you for allowing me an opportunity to present my profile and reconsider my case. I have been serving in the field of dentistry for a long time now and I have witnessed many loopholes in the way health care management runs in my country of residence. As a result, I want to become the flagbearer of change and bring a revolution in the existing norms of working in the healthcare management department of India. However, being a practicing dental practitioner, my knowledge area in carrying out full-fledged management at any healthcare facility remains limited. I am, therefore, applying to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Health Care Management at Cape Breton University. I am glad to share that I have also received a Letter of Admission from the university for <mention intake>. Unfortunately, my last visa application was rejected due to following reasons:
- I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
I am thus, utilizing this application as a medium to support my candidature as a genuine temporary entrant. I hope that my solid reasoning to return to India will convince you to allow me a study permit.
Purpose of visit:
I have played a significant role in the Indian healthcare industry being a dental practitioner. After having grasped the industry’s details from the grassroots level, I am ardent to forward my experience in health care management. The Indian health care industry requires revolutionary changes to provide eminent health care services to the patients and their attendants. Having heard a lot about the international standards of health care management, I am more interested to pursue my future endeavors in Canada. The chosen program in Canada will enhance my leadership qualities in building a network of self-motivated individuals back home who can assist me in accomplishing the goal of delivering outstanding health care services in India.
Why Canada?
Canada provides exemplary education in the arena of healthcare management. By studying in Canada, I will reserve a chance to get international exposure which is not possible to garner in my country of residence. Canada is a land of diversity. It represents a peacefully co-existing population that carries warmth and harmony. As a result, I can imagine a peaceful stay in Canada as well as I will garner lifetime connections for an enriching personal and professional experience. The versatility of the Canadian education system is renowned in the world which makes it a globally acclaimed education hub. Due to its position on the rank seventh in the global peace index, I am confident about having a peaceful stay throughout my time in Canada.
Why Not India: Healthcare management courses are available in my country but the curriculum as extensive as the one offered through course offering at CBU is hard to find. I am also excited about the internationally accredited qualification that will benefit my career back home. Also, in my country, I will not get any practical exposure due to the richly theoretical education system whereas, in Canada, I will hone impeccable management skills through well-designed practical classrooms and close faculty interaction. The small class size will act as an added benefit to my learning curve. Hence, I want to be a part of such an exemplary study system than studying in India.
Why Cape Breton University?
The course curriculum that I came across at CBU has kept me hooked on its beneficial study offerings. After thoroughly comparing it with other available courses at different colleges and universities in Canada, I found it to offer supreme learning modules. I am also convinced with the university’s approach to treating its international student population. The university has a multicultural student base which is nurtured under close mentorship from industry leaders. The course curriculum on the other hand matches my study objectives. Through a practically enriched exposure at CBU, I will catalyze my learning experiences in a foreign land. The opportunity to implement my conceptual learnings in real-time will come in handy as I return to my country. The inclusion of topics in Health Care, Workplace Communications, Health Care Analytics, Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Care, Human Resources Management, etc., will come to my study advantage. I will penetrate deep learning into the management of the entire health care facility in the roles of Administration Officer, Health care Consultant, Administrative Support Specialist, etc. Through a robust study experience at CBU, I will evolve as a hardcore professional in my chosen field and I will be thoroughly prepared to take the road ahead to a flourishing career in the health care management industry in India, thereby reserving a chance to revolutionize the industry standards for the betterment.
Reasons to return to India
Family ties
My family comprises my parents, in-laws, and my husband. My father is a retired/pensioned Senior Administrative officer from the Ministry of health and my husband is an Assistant Manager in Reliance Retail Limited. My mother and mother-law are stay-at-home moms who are enjoying their old age in the presence of their loved ones. Being a loving daughter and eldest daughter-in-law, I have a huge responsibility on my shoulder to take care of the elderly and my husband. I also have certain commitments towards my husband as we also need to grow our family in the future. Our families also possess substantial assets that my husband and I need to cater to as our parents grow older. Owing to my responsibilities and immense love for my family, I am looking forward to returning to my country of residence as I also do not share any family ties in Canada.
Future plans
My short-term career goal is to furnish hands-on academic and training exposure through my educational pursuits in Canada. I will perform at par with my colleagues and obtain higher grades in my study program. The international exposure and study standards will enrich my professional persona. I will perfect my management skills and administrative abilities as a part of my learning at CBU. As I also operate the medical facility in partnership with my senior, I will implement my learnings in growing it back home. However, in the long run, I wish to establish a full-fledged multispecialty hospital on my husband’s land which we have saved to accomplish this dream. Through this, I will take over the charge of this medical health facility utilizing my international education, exposure, and learnings.
