It is a true adage that success is the locus for preparation and opportunity to intersect. All my life, I have been presented with ample opportunities that have pushed me out of my comfort zone and have brought out the best in me. Every endeavor, big and small, has made me unleash my potential, thus making me more confident and zealous. While my academic achievements have transformed me into a learned individual, my extramural engagements have built the interpersonal side of me. What has remained the core of all my experiences is the curiosity for constant exploration and the determination to never give up. 

My academic trajectory thus far has been a continuous ride of progression that has acted as the ground for all my endeavors thus far. Please allow me to walk you through my academic journey. After completing my matriculation and intermediate studies with stellar grades, my inclination towards Biotechnology had me opting for a bachelor’s program in the same. As I progressed in the program, I learned volumes about Advanced Communication Skills, Biostatistics, Managerial Skills, and Business environment and scored above 80 percent individually in these subjects. I completed my bachelor’s program with a CGPA of 8.6/10 and bagged the first-class distinction. Not only that, but I secured the third rank in the University in the year 2007. It was my firm grasp of fundamentals that prepared me for the academic and professional experiences that lay ahead of me. My zeal to explore the world of Project Management landed me at the doors of the University of New Brunswick. I am pursuing the MBA program in Project Management at present and have successfully cleared the first module, scoring grade “A” in all subjects individually. My cumulative score stands at 3.7 and I have attended all classes in the module.

Apart from demonstrating a strong scholastic profile, I would like to mention that I have been actively involved in community service throughout. During my bachelor’s, I was a part of the Youth Red Cross which had me travelling to distant regions of India to provide the deprived sections of the society with the basic amenities. Moreover, I volunteered with the Community Health Service Program wherein I spread awareness on sanitation and hygiene. At UNB, I am volunteering at the Saint New Comer Center and am responsible for organizing special events, and am working on the upcoming fundraising campaigns. These experiences have not only catered to my desire to contribute but have also made me more connected to my surroundings. I now wish to volunteer at non-profit organizations and create an impact on a larger scale. 

Post completing the program, I seek to apply all the acquired knowledge and exposure towards my role as a Project Manager at a reputed firm, dealing with clients and managing complex projects. In the long run, I intend to elevate my family business and establish its presence globally. Additionally, I look forward to starting a non-profit organization in health services and organize fundraising drives to help the community. I am ardent to contribute to my surroundings and will leave no stone unturned to transform opportunities into accolades. 

In conclusion, I would like to establish that I possess the required scholastic excellence and ample volunteering experience under my belt to stand eligible for this scholarship. I need financial assistance to comfortably manage my studies in the upcoming terms, and channel funds towards pursuing certifications to broaden my knowledge and skillset.
