Respected Sir/ Madam,

I thank you for allowing me to share my study in Canada. As I have planned to pursue a career in business, I am ardent to upgrade my academic profile per the same. I want to utilize my previous academic exposure and past professional experience to study further. Therefore, I have thoughtfully chosen to pursue a Diploma in Business Administration from CodeCore College. I have also received a Letter of Acceptance from the College and so I am utilizing this medium to convince you for allowing me a study permit.  

Academic and professional background   

I have been brought up in an educated family that taught me to value education. As a result, I passed secondary school in 2008 in the first division. Unfortunately, my mother was diagnosed with Cancer in 2007 which badly impacted my academic performance in my senior school. However, I managed to pass the same without failing in 2010. year on year, my mother’s situation went worse between 2007 to 2010. Hence, I had to act responsibly being the elder daughter. I compromised upon my dream of attaining higher education and joined an entry-level small private job at Jai Maa Properties Ltd in April 2010 to keep my family up and running as my younger sister was also studying in school. Meanwhile, I kept trying for a government job to sustain my family more graciously and was finally selected to join Military Engineer Services as Fitter General Mechanic on 29th Jan 2013. I am still serving in this position. My current role requires me to manage, upkeep and maintain water supply services for military units and maintain and submission of payrolls, income tax statements, medical claims, books of accounts/statutory returns, etc. As a result, I was prompted to complete Bachelors of Commerce degree through Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2019. However, after having served meticulously in my current organization, I have inculcated a dream to make it big in the busies industry rather than carrying on with a job and waiting endlessly to get promoted. I am therefore eager to equip myself with formal training in business administration and leap ahead in my career which was affected by unavoidable circumstances in the past. Fortunately, now my family situation has positively reversed with the complete cure of my mother who has resumed working. My sister has also settled into a rewarding job. As of now, we also do not hold any liability to anyone. Therefore, I consider this as a golden period of my life to grab my dream qualifications to further upgrade my career prospects and live the life I had always imagined for myself. Possessing fundamental knowledge of accountancy, marketing, business, and economics as a result of my undergraduate degree in Commerce, I am sure to excel in my academic performance at CodeCore College.  

Why Canada?  

As I have compromised on my academics a lot in the past. Now when I have the most upright timing and opportunity to embrace further education, I do not want to leave any stone unturned to unlock a rewarding study opportunity. Therefore, I have planned to study in Canada. While upon briefing my interest in choosing Canada, I want to share that my intense research about the Canadian study system drew me closer to finalizing Canada as my first and foremost study choice. It is a global education leader that gathers students from around the world to quench their thirst for academic knowledge in the most diverse educational background. The peacefulness index of the country assures me to have a safe and comfortable stay in the country. A multicultural environment on the other hand is a cherry on the cake as it will enhance my international exposure and evolve me as a person. Tuition fees in Canada are more affordable than in most English-speaking countries while the nation continues to impose favorable policies to protect its international student population. I cannot find such leverages and treatment in any other foreign country than Canada.  

Why not India: The course that I have chosen to study in Canada is comprehensive and vast while those available in my homeland aren’t too beneficial as per the global standard of learning. Moreover, the Canadian colleges follow advanced pedagogy while Indian colleges focus studies on the merit-based system which encourages conceptual learning alone. As I intend to pursue my career in business, I require a global outlook than indigenous exposure, Therefore, I am more interested in studying in Canada than in my country of residence. As a result of my foreign studies, I will be able to create a competitive edge for myself in India and will garner better partnership opportunities. Needless to mention foreign education is deemed worthy in my country of residence. Therefore, I am more interested in studying in Canada.  

Why Business Administration at CodeCore College?  

After having compared the course offering at CodeCore College with other Canadian colleges, I have found it to be the most ideal match to quench my thirst for management subjects. On top of it, CodeCore College offers to study among a diverse group of international students which will help me in nurturing my personality and become a well-rounded professional. As a student at CodeCore College, I will enhance my technical proficiency and enrich my creative thinking as per the global perspective. I am eager to train myself under the guided mentorship of esteemed faculty at CodeCore College. It has a proven track record of generating more than six hundred professionals as a result of its advanced course offerings in vocational courses. Throughout my tenure at CodeCore College, I will study topics in Business Law, Business Communications, Organizational Behavior, Management Accounting, Project Management, Leadership Development, Small Business Management, Business Finance, Strategic Management, etc., which will nurture my leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills. As a part of my curriculum, I will also gain qualitative learning experience through industry visits, guest lectures, simulation activities, etc. I am, therefore, eagerly looking forward to embracing this study opportunity at CodeCore College.   

Reasons to return to India: 

Family Ties  

My family comprises my widowed mother and younger sister. My mother is a Senior Store Superintendent in Indian Airforce and my younger sister is well-placed as a manager at <add bank name>. They are my closest ties in India along with other members of the bloodline in my hometown. However, being the elder child in the family, I feel a lot accountable toward my mother who has recently won over her battle with Cancer. I earnestly want to give her a comfortable life by being at her side as she grows older. Likewise, I want to settle my sister in her personal life as she is already thriving in her professional career. My family’s vast assets require our keen attention and those will be divided between me and my sister. Therefore, considering my love and affection for my family along with a sense of responsibility, I will return to my home prioritizing my family ties in India which are not available in Canada.  

Future Goals  

My short-term goal is to complete my chosen study program with higher grades and make my family proud. India has an ever-evolving business industry that is growing at a faster rate, inviting multinational corporations to invest in India. Therefore, India offers lots of business opportunities to its youth. Those who are well-equipped and well-trained get to reap the most benefit out of government initiatives for running small businesses. I would therefore utilize such an opportunity to establish an independent business consulting firm in the future. My international education and exposure will serve as a cornerstone to my career success and reward me with lucrative partnership opportunities. In the long run, I am to become a renowned woman entrepreneur who supports woman workers and employs them to uplift their existing conditions in Indian society.  

 Ability to fund education

I belong to a financially strong family that can fully sponsor my education in Canada. My mother has willingly agreed to sponsor my education for the second year. Also, I have enough savings to pay for my first year’s tuition fee and deposit GIC. As a result, I have paid CAD<add figure> as my tuition fee and deposited CAD<add figure> into the GIC account. If any issue arises, I also have an option to avail loan which I do not want to exhaust, considering our strong financial backing. My sister has also assured me to support me in case of any additional expenses that I might incur during my stay in Canada.  

Language proficiency

To fulfill the language proficiency criteria, I have taken the IELTS test and have secured an overall band score of 6.0 (Listening:6.5, Speaking: 6.0, Writing: 6.0, Reading: 6.0). Please find enclosed the IELTS scorecard for your kind review.  

Conclusion 

I am a sincere student who intends to pursue higher studies in Canada. I have also familiarized myself with Canadian Immigration Laws. I pledge to abide by the same and not pose any threat to the Canadian culture. Rather, add to its cultural diversity. Through this application, I request you to allow me a visa grant to fulfill my study goals in Canada. I shall be highly obliged.
