Respected Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to detail to you my desire to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Business Management program at Conestoga College. Utilizing my practical exposure and past academic learnings, I wish to reserve better career opportunities by also embellishing my career profile with an advanced study option in Canada. I hope, by the end of this application, I would be able to offer you valid reasoning about my genuine interest in opting to study in Canada. 

Academic and professional background  

I belong to a family where education is prioritized over any other thing in our lives. As a result, I have been intrinsically motivated to do well in my academics. However, after my grade tenth, my father business required a mandate split with his partner which further involved my exclusive support in helping him to reestablishing the business image in the market. Hence, I provided exclusive support to my father between June 2019 to April 2020 which also helped me garner excellent business exposure. I sharpened my business acumen which inspired me to carve a niche for myself in the business excellence. Owing to our business situation and my proximate involvement with it, I planned to reappear in class twelfth by November 2020. Unfortunately, I was infected with the deadly coronavirus in April 2020. It took me around four to five months to completely recover from the severe virus attack, and I couldn’t get a sufficient time to prepare for my re-intake as planned. Hence, I reappeared in the year 2021 and obtained an impressive percentage of 88% in my final exams. As a part of my academic syllabus, I studied business, marketing, and economics which augmented my theoretical exposure and gave me a boost to embrace business studies in higher education. I am convinced that my exposure to my father’s business will definitely come in handy as I embark on a journey towards advanced business studies.  

Why Canada? 

Studying in Canada will allow me to experience multicultural learning due to its diverse student population. It is known as a global education leader and is highly considered among international students because of its affordable cost of education. Also, I am impressed to know about its favorable policies laid down for students. It is also one of the most peaceful countries in the global peace index which is highly regarded world widely. I am confident that my studies in Canada will add to my professional profile due to the qualitative international exposure that I will garner in the foreign land. Considering my financial capacity and desire to gain qualitative educational experience, I am determined to study in Canada. 

Why not India: The comprehensiveness of the course that I could derive at Conestoga College is hard to find in my country. Although a plethora of business management courses is available indigenously, none has compared to my study standards. However, when I also compared the distinguished education systems in India and Canada, I found Canada to be fulfilling my study objectives over India. Moreover, I will also get an internationally recognized accreditation which is not possible in my country. It will certainly make me a desirable candidate among Indian employers, and I will gain a competitive advantage over others. Hence, I am interested to pursue higher studies in Canada than in India. 

Why Business Management Program at Conestoga College? 

After comparing Conestoga College’s program with other programs, I have found it to perfectly match my study aspirations. Studying in a multicultural student population will be a new experience for me that will make me sustain my performance amongst a culturally diverse crowd. I will enhance my personality by being a part of an international college that prioritize students. Due to the extensive curriculum offered by Conestoga College, I am driven toward enrolling in one of its esteemed courses in Business Management. As a result of my time at Conestoga College, I will develop competitive skills in handling complex business situations due to practically enriched sessions. I will also inculcate valuable life lessons under the highly qualified industry mentors in the faculty panel of Conestoga College. I am extremely excited to train myself under a rich mentorship that I can find in Conestoga College better than indigenously available study options. Moreover, I am particularly interested in the chosen course due to the inclusion of topics in Organizational Behavior, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations Management, Data Analysis and Advanced Functions, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Project Management, International Business, Financial Management, Human Resources Management which is of my proximate interest. As a result of my course learnings, I will garner the right skills in problem-solving, organizing, crisis management, and decision-making which are of umpteen significance for me as an upcoming business manager or supervisor.  

Reasons to return to India:

Family Ties 

My family, besides me, includes my parents, sister, and grandparents. We live in close coordination with each other. My father is a businessman, my mother is a homemaker, and my sister is <add what she is doing>. My grandparents are old and dependent on us. Over time, living in a close-knit joint family, I have received enormous love, care, and attention. Hence, I wish to reciprocate my feelings with immense gratitude toward my family. As a result, I wish to return to my country to be with my parents, grandparents, and sister. I will also be required to manage the voluminous assets my parents have gathered so far. I must return to India to fulfill my family duties and moral obligations toward my parents. I also do not possess any family ties in Canada, which is a binding reason for me to return to my home amongst my family members. 

Future Goals 

My country is a rapidly growing hub for international business and trade. As a result, I am determined towards obtaining my short-term career goals by acquiring formal training in business management from Conestoga college. I will secure higher grades by performing at par with my peers and colleagues and return to my home country to realize the benefit of this course learning in an evolving business platform. Upon completion of my course, I will return to India and utilize my foreign education to seek roles in a supervisory position at top-rated MNCs operating in India which includes KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, HCL, and Wipro, etc. However, in the long run, I will attach myself to my father’s business and flourish in it by utilizing my academic and professional skills. I am to give international recognition to our family business and acquire international mergers and acquisitions. 

Conclusion 

Declaration of funds: I belong to a financially strong family that can fully sponsor my education in Canada. My father has agreed to sponsor my education. As a result, I have also paid a tuition fee of CAD<add figure> and deposited CAD <add figure>. Also, due to my family’s strong financial status, I am convinced about asking for help in case of any additional expenses that I might incur in Canada. My family also possesses substantial property in the form of tangible and intangible assets worth CAD<add figure> that determines our NetWorth. Also, our total annual business turnover is CAD<add figure>. I have also enclosed proof of payment along with our family’s financial details for your kind consideration. 

Language proficiency: To fulfill the language proficiency criteria, I have taken the IELTS test and have secured an overall band score of 7.0 with no band having less than <add the least figure>. Please find enclosed the IELTS scorecard for your review. 

Oath: I am a dedicated student who wishes to pursue higher studies from Canada. I have also familiarized myself with Canadian Immigration Laws. I pledge to enrich Canada’s vast culture with my strong values. Through this application, I wish to represent myself as the most genuine temporary entrant in Canada.
