Respected Sir/ Madam,
I wish to thank you for giving me another opportunity to explain my case. I am a citizen of India bearing passport number J2160696 wishing to visit Ireland for further study. I have realized my management potential as a result of working in the corporate world for a decent period. If nurtured, these abilities could lead to numerous opportunities for growth for me. Training and development support will be all that I need to excel in my career. Management has today become even more versatile due to a combination of traditional practices and modern technology. Managers need to understand the business operations as well as how the divisions operate during my professional career. While I have great leadership skills and an aptitude for business management, my academic qualifications are limited to a basic master’s degree. My existing qualifications prevent me from progressing in the management field and this will obstruct my goal of reaching the top. I aim to break this cycle by pursuing an MBA degree to obtain an appropriate management qualification. Furthermore, Dublin Business School sent me a Letter of Offer. Hence, I wish to reiterate my reasons for visiting Ireland and pursuing the chosen study program.
Academic and professional background
As a member of an earnest family, I received equal learning opportunities and treatment as a child. Hence, I acquired reasonable academic qualifications till post-graduation. I passed my secondary school in 2007 and senior secondary school in 2009 with 71% and 67% respectively. To further my academics, I passed my Bachelor of Arts in 2012. As a result of being a fresher full of ideas and inspirations, I thought about exploring a job environment and cracked an opportunity to work as a Marketing Executive at an event management company, Dream Merchant from 2012 to 2015. Followed by working as a sales associate at Spencer after a certain time, I plunged into studying even more as in my vicinity none of my cousins or close acquaintances were only graduates. Hence, I enrolled in a Master of Arts with a Geography specialization based on my previous qualifications and completed this degree in 2017. However, even after completing my post-graduation in geography, my interest remained stuck in corporates which is why I joined as a sales office at Hdfc Bank from 2017 to 2018 and IndusInd Bank as a <add designation> from April 2018 to November 2018. My exposure to IndusInd in the human resource arena gave me a real perspective of my corporate journey and helped me seek entry into the HR Admin position at my current company, A-Z Travels and Tourism Ltd. Since 2018, I have been employed here in a similar position. When I discussed further opportunities for growth with my management, I was directed and encouraged to pursue management-related studies as my academic background is only limited to a generic master’s degree which is unrelated to what I am doing as of now and aspire to do in future. I aim to seek career growth in the next few years. With my esteemed exposure in corporate, I aim to handle bigger teams and head departments yet my limited understanding of management has kept me at a certain level. To fill this gap, I have decided to acquire management skills through pursuing an MBA from Dublin Business School.
Why Ireland?
I have finalized to study in Ireland based on its beneficial offering to provide international exposure and qualitative education at the most affordable cost. Ranging from open learning culture to advanced pedagogy, Ireland ticked all the boxes for me. My further research about Ireland’s uptake of the education system has also confirmed my decision to pursue higher studies here. Ireland ranks among the top nations in international education and support. Due to this, Ireland has a multicultural population that co-exists amiably. I am sure to receive a warmhearted welcome and acceptability.
As I am aiming to nurture my management skills through the chosen program, it is reasonable for me to study from an international location due to the global nature of my study choice. The course that I am aiming to pursue would prepare me to take up challenging opportunities that will require a global understanding of business. If I study in India, I will miss this aspect of my studies. Our education system is very traditional and follows theoretical learning rather than practical teaching methods as applicable in the education system of Ireland. Also, I would not gain any international exposure if I studied in India. As a result of my international degree, I will create a competitive edge for myself upon returning home. Looking at the many benefits of studying in Ireland, I am sure to accomplish my study goals here.
Why Dublin Business School?
As I compared a multitude of courses in Ireland, I found the one available at the Dublin Business School to be the most perfect match for me. Firstly, because I will receive an international degree, and secondly due to its rich curriculum offering, I became curious to speculate further about the college’s environment. Fortunately, I have found it to be the most beneficial and valuable to my study aspirations. Students at Dublin Business School get to experience a unique knowledge-based platform to quench their thirst for developing technical proficiency.
Financial establishments and reasons to return home
With reference to funding my education, my existing company will sponsor my education and living expenses in Ireland. It gives me the confidence to complete my studies without any financial constraints. To honor this, I aim to rejoin my existing company which has also promised me career growth back home after my study program concludes.
Career goals
As far as my career aspirations are concerned, I am highly inspired to rejoin my existing employer, A-Z Travels and Tourism Ltd. My employer has promised to provide me with career progression and growth promoting me to another designation as a manager. It will strengthen my profile and equip me further for serving in the business industry. After returning to India, I aim to work religiously on my personal and professional growth. However, in the future, I aim to work with business giants like Protiviti, Infosys, KPMG, Microsoft, etc on the HOD level.
Justification for previous visa refusal
I humbly address that my previous visa application has been refused due to my unrelated professional and academic background. I wholly agree with the difference in my previous academic background as I completed a general Master of Arts degree in Geography which is not related to management. It has certainly prompted me to acquire this much-needed qualification as I belong to the corporate background professionally. I have been working as an HR Admin at A-Z Travels and Tourism Ltd. since 2021, my yearning for further promotion and taking over management-oriented responsibilities has compelled me to fulfill the requisite of acquiring qualification in management which I have taken seriously, and apply for the chosen study program. Earlier, I mistakenly mentioned the wrong year of completion of my graduate degree which was completed in 2017 instead of 2020. For this, I pay a humble apology and request you to consider it a typo error. I understand this has confused the previous visa officer which led to my refusal. Now that I have identified the problem, I wish to extend a sincere apology and request the approval of my study permit. Also, I have enclosed herewith all the legitimate documentation to justify my case.
Conclusion
Based on my genuine intentions to visit Ireland, I request you to consider my case and allow me to study in this country. I assure you that I will follow all the immigration rules and abide by the country’s laws. Thank you in advance.
Yours Sincerely,
Sarita Kapoor
